Executive Vice President – Global Head of Construction

David Malone is President of Construction at LURIN where his responsibilities include developing and managing construction budgets for the successful repositioning of new acquisitions, determining annual asset preservation needs and capital budgets for existing assets, performing disposition inspections of assets, and settling property damage claims.

Prior to joining LURIN, David served as the Director of Construction at BH Management Services, a private equity owner/operator of 65,000+ multi-family units located across the United States.  At BH, he was responsible for a team of 28 employees managing over 75 projects annually totaling over $200mm primarily focused on the repositioning of class B assets.  In addition to managing a team of project managers, he was responsible for the general direction of the construction department and developing procedures to efficiently produce on time and on budget projects.

Prior to BH, David was Director of Operations and Director of Construction at United Renovations, a nationwide general contractor focused on multi-family rehab projects including all aspects exterior repairs, extensive interior upgrades and common area remodels throughout the United States. David has been involved in the construction industry for the past 25+ years with a broad range of experience including overseeing the redevelopment of over 40,000 units.
