Carissa’s focus is on harnessing emerging technologies to streamline processes, boost productivity, and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement. By championing the implementation of cutting-edge systems and frameworks, she empowers the LURIN workforce and elevates resident experiences to new heights.

Prior to joining LURIN, Carissa served as Chief Technology Officer for BRIX Holdings, LLC, overseeing the technology strategy for a portfolio of renowned brands including Red Mango, Friendly’s, Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt, Smoothie Factory, Souper Salad, Humble Donuts and Clean Juice. Her impressive track record also includes a tenure as Chief Information Officer at Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc., where she spearheaded significant growth across all channels and brands through her visionary leadership of the technology group. Carissa has received multiple awards and recognition for her achievements in technology and serves as a Governing Member for the Evanta CIO Dallas Chapter and as an Advisor to the Emerging Concepts Team.
